Scholarship
Kappa
Kappa Gamma was founded by women seeking to reach their own individual
goals and to offer support for one another intellectually, socially,
and most importantly, academically in a collegiate setting. Kappa
Kappa Gamma offers an excellent academic program for its members and
holds scholarship as a number one priority.
We
remember that our first duty here at the University of Connecticut is
to gain knowledge and for each individual sister to do her best in
school. We have a scholarship committee that consists of five women
who strive to motivate and aide their sisters in achieving academic
excellence. All of the hard work from the scholarship committee and
from our sisters has paid off. Our Delta Mu chapter is consistently
counted among the most academically successful sororities here at
Uconn.
Scholarship is highly respected and promoted among the sisters of
Kappa Kappa Gamma. We encourage one another to strive and achieve her
best!
Academics
Kappa
understands that the transition from high school to college can be
difficult and we try to give all of our members the resources that
they need in order to excel.
Among the
numerous scholarship resources and programs available to our sisters
are the following:
Tutoring - Kappa wants each member to
excel in her studies and we strive to allow every member the
opportunity to improve by offering to find tutors or study counselors.
Scholarship binder - Kappa Kappa Gamma

the binder details these as well as many other scholarships available
to members of this chapter.
