Philanthropy
for Kappas at the University of Connecticut
is not just how we give back to the community, but also something that each
one of us holds close to our hearts.
Our national
philanthropy is Reading is Fundamental (http://www.rif.org)
and our local philanthropy at UConn is Breast
Cancer Awareness.
Since the fall of
2003 Delta Mu hosts an annual breast cancer walk on campus. All of our
donations are given to, "Friends For An Earlier Breast Cancer
Test", a woman's organization designed to raise awareness and increase
research on breast cancer along with other cancer's that specifically
